Serve and Destroy

January 21st Nettmann and I are showing a selection of our works that were inspired by snacks, deserts, barbeques and other deep and thoughtful edibles.
We knew we'd found our target audience in the patrons of Caffetteria Buchhandlung in the Tucholsky Strasse 32. The Buchhandlung is one of the remaining refuges that are still standing in Berlin's 'Mitte' (city centre), after the so-called gentrification has leaned back and blatantly stretched it's arms out over most of our favorite venues. The Buchhandlung, meaning 'bookstore', is also right nextdoor to our beloved 'Renate Comicbibliothek', Germany's only comic library and one of my favorite hang-outs.
We'll be there, looking forward to seeing you! And Nettmann's sure to be laying on a few records, chiming in another wintry night.
